Who Are We

Amigo Group has all kind of
personality (brands)

A collection of colourful brands with a common purpose: to entertain, connect, and show new travellers the very best that Budapest has to offer.

Working at Amigo Group means being involved in all of our brands in some way or another. Whether you’re at the Ultimate Budapest Traveller’s Desk selling boat party tickets, or in the office working with our marketing wizards on our newest project or campaign, you’ll never get bored with just doing “one” thing.

Here’s a quick idea of the different brands and personalities you’ll be representing as a part of the Amigo Group family:

Affectionately called “the little party company that could”, this was the first tourism business in Budapest to connect young travellers with a wide range of night-time events and activities that they could book on a single platform. Launched in 2013, we were the only party tourism business to stick together throughout the pandemic, and emerge bigger and better than before after the dust settled. Our events and sales staff are made up of expats, locals and seasonal backpackers who were drawn by the wide variety of events and parties we organise! Here are the 2 best-known daughter brands PartyBookers gave birth to…

Budapest Boat Party logo

Born as a pet project of our founder and the Budapest Party Hostels, Budapest Boat Party became official in 2014 as the first-ever company in Budapest to run weekly boat parties for the general public. We’ve hosted music festivals, themed parties and New Year’s Eve blow-outs for the past decade, and are still listed in the top 5 nightlife experiences in the city for travellers.

Since its creation in 2013, this weird and wacky pub crawl quickly became infamous as one of the most sociable and inventive pub crawls in the world. Picture 50 strangers completing hilarious challenges designed to get them to mingle and meet each other, without the awkward small talk, by competing to win prizes and party tickets - that is the Bingo Bar Crawl experience!

Ultimate Budapest logo

Recipient of a Hungarian government grant in May of 2021, this was the project that helped us stay focused and united during the pandemic, with a new goal and mission: create the ultimate all-in-one resource for new visitors to get necessary information about the city and book services and activities during their stay. And we didn’t just stop at a website and offline booking system this time - we have our very own info desk and mobile app to go with it, which now give us even more toys and opportunities to play with!

ULTIMATE BUDAPEST
APPLICATION

This handy little app offers easy booking and ticket management for a wide range of activities, in-app self-guided city tours, quick answers to common questions, and even a daily list of tourist- and expat-friendly events and gatherings happening in the city. As far as travel apps go, this one checks more boxes than any other… and we’ve only just gotten started!

MAIN TOUR
SERVICES

Nestled inside Nomád Travellers’ Bar, our ticket & info desk is open 4 days a week offering tips, tricks and assistance for travellers in anything they might need to help make their stay hassle-free and memorable. Kind of like a public reception desk for anyone in the area, in a prime location for getting the word out about what we do, and what makes us great.
